Stewarton based gym dedicated to the promotion of a healthier lifestyle through CrossFit, nutrition and mobility education.
Co-owner of CrossFit Stewarton, Robbie has gained vast experience coaching various populations throughout Ayrshire and Glasgow. Along with coaching CFS classes, his passion lies in helping competitive athletes maximise their potential in the sport of fitness. A self-proclaimed programming geek, Robbie loves to compete himself – although he hasn’t quite mastered the act of juggling a hectic training schedule alongside dad duties!
Kirsty and Robbie opened the doors of CrossFit Stewarton in January 2016 after falling in love with the sport through CrossFit Glasgow. Kirsty is mum to Arthur, lectures at the University of the West of Scotland in Sports Coaching and Development, and is currently undertaking the Mac-Nutrition Uni course to help further develop the CFS Nutrition support available to members.
Shona is a CrossFit Level 1 certified Trainer, graphic designer and mum to Leo and Matilda. Sho has participated in several CrossFit competitions and has more recently taken her love of Olympic Weightlifting to another level, competing at the Scottish Championships in the 53kg category this year. Whilst you’ll rarely see Shona without a barbell in her hands, she is passionate about finding and developing new drills to help members become that little bit more gymnasty! Sho also coaches our weekly Girls class, Ladies who Lift and Endurance WODs and, with over 10 years experience in marketing and design, she has taken on the role of Digital Communications Manager for CFS.
Heather found CrossFit in 2013 and was hooked! She has competed throughout the UK at various team and individual competitions, as well as working alongside online body composition coach, Joe Parish, to accomplish her own body transformation. Heather knows first hand the highs and lows that come with fat loss; and believes that with hard work, patience and consistency, everyone can achieve their fitness and physique goals. Heather is currently undertaking Martin MacDonald's Mac Nutrition Uni course with the aim of helping others achieve their personal goals whilst maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Calum (CD) joined Team CFS in September 2016 after growing increasingly bored of his uninspiring fitness journey. CrossFit Stewarton gave CD exciting new challenges at every session, motivating him to achieve higher levels of strength and fitness. Calum, keen to pass on his passion for the sport of CrossFit, progressed to become a CrossFit Level 1 certified Trainer and has hopes of competing throughout the UK in the near future. Calum loves the social aspect of CFS and is never far away with his camera - shooting awesome videos to keep our YouTube channel topped up! For CD, this is just the start of a lifelong journey to maintain and enhance his health and fitness levels, and inspire others to do the same.
