Weightlifting Speciality Course

“In the 4 weeks I worked with Shona it was evident that she has a real passion for Olympic lifting that she is keen to pass on and teach. Classes were small enough that she was able to identify issues with technique and give clear guidance on how to correct them which has helped to improve everyone’s confidence.

I now feel confident to go to open gym and run through drills Shona went over and to work on my technique weaknesses which I wouldn’t have done before.

I have also seen a marked improvement in my lifts in normal gym as I have a better understanding of what I am meant to be doing.”

“What an amazing 4 week programme – I can’t believe the difference in my technique in such a short space of time. Shona was amazing at breaking down all the movements and making sure we all understood the fundamentals of each lift. Her patience and ability to explain things simply is second to none. I now have the confidence and the tools to do drills on my own and am excited to continue to make progress. I would recommend one of Shona’s courses to anyone that wants to improve their Olympic lifts and I can’t wait to sign up for another.”

“Shona is always willing to assist and break movements down and has numerous drills for us to try so we can improve our technique. Always get loads out of a class when Shona is coaching.”
